A podcast cover for a show uncovering the forgotten tales of athletes from around the world.
Challenge
Legends is about legacy and rediscovery. There were three requests: the artwork needed needed to feel rooted in history without also being dated, it had to be bold enough be visible at thumbnail size, and it had to use AI.
Solution
The layered collage approach draws from the style of scrapbooking and archival clippings, meant to give the idea of uncovering history. Bold, large type makes sure the title is legible at any scale, and the background is a callback to the long history of nature.
